Called to find out what the lasagna of the day was and got the phone slammed down on me. Really cooled me on the place. The food here is good, but I don't feel like ordering anything from here for a while.

Lightening fast delivery. Really delicious walnut and dill chicken sandwich, which was almost big enough for 2. The grilled chicken sandwich, roast pork sandwich, and the turkey sandwich were also really good. Also really like the mushroom barley soup. This may be my favorite seamless web spot. I have ordered from here at least a dozen times or more. The lunch special -- half sandwich and soup and beverage -- is a particularly good deal.

Ingredients are super fresh! Coworker saved a sandwich for the following day, and it was STILL super fresh by lunchtime. The pasta portions are small, but the sandwiches - worth it.

Small sandwich shop on side street but don't let that fool you.. Sandwiches are made with LOVE.. ALWAYS FRESH ALWAYS GOOD. Ive ordered and eaten lunch here over 50+ times and I really don't have a single complaint. Super fast delivery too!

the baguette on my tuna sandwich was so tough to chew it hurts a little. and there was no sign of capers. otherwise, not a bad sandwich.

Sandwich house is terrific. They have very unique sandwiches that have different tastes. This isn't your average sandwich shop, they have very inspired sandwiches. Also their soups and potato chips are excellent. Quick deliveries as well, overall a terrific lunch place.

I've only ordered the chicken salad sandwich, but it has been delicious every time. Also the delivery has always come within 20 minutes!! They are so consistent with the food and quick delivery. I only wish the chicken salad had more chicken and less golden raisins, then it'd really be a hit!

The food was bland and cold by the time it arrived. The estimated delivery time was 15-30 minutes, but it took over an hour (and I live about 4 blocks from the place). Bread was stale, pasta was soggy, sauce was cold and not tasty, drink was warm. I will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered a fresh mozzarella sandwich from here, over the phone and requested they add sopressata. They confirmed it verbally, however when the sandwich came there was no sopressata. When we called and questioned them, the lady first denied we requested it, and then ultimately admitted it and told us she could not provide another sandwich. Ultimately she agreed, but said we would have to pay and it would be another 30 minutes (I live 4 blocks away). Unacceptable service and attitude.

There something about a place that includes fresh grated parmesan in the delivery order that says: "I like you, I like your business, I want to impress you and I want your repeat business." Well, Sandwich House, you got my attention and you're gonna get my repeat business, because: 1. Your food rocks 2. Your delivery man was fast and polite 3. Your portions are huge In fact that delicious chicken and dill salad sandwich ($7.95) on a baguette was so big, it looked like I was carrying around a concealed bazooka in that paper wrapping. The Linguine w/ Mushroom Sauce ($10.55) was pretty stellar too! PARTING THOUGHT: Now what am I going to do with this huge pile of leftovers???

The ingredients seem fresh but my chicken salad sandwich was 99% raisins and 1% chicken. It was supposed to be a dill chicken and walnut salad?

Excellent pasta. I had the linguine with mushroom sauce and it was delicious. The only thing they could have done better was give me MORE fresh grated parm cheese. Overall and excellent meal for an excellent price.

Probably the best sandwiches in lower Manhattan. Incredibly fresh ingredients. The pasta is also excellent. I usually order from here at least once a week.

I ordered at 11:15 a.m. and was given a 15-30 minute delivery estimate. I called them an hour later and was told my order had still not been delivered and that it would be delivered around 12:45. If they cannot handle an order that far ahead of the lunch rush, I don't think I'll be risking it again.

This place has such an ordinary-sounding name, but the food and service are anything but. The menu leans toward Italian. Food always comes quickly, is hot, and special orders are always followed. It is also very inexpensive. If you ask they will send extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side for your salad. Excellent every time!

Great new option in the 'hood for cheap, fast, good pasta, as well as fresh salads and sandwiches. Like others, I've totally passed up this place because of zero curb appeal but they use authentic Italian ingredients. It's not on the level of Capri Cafe, but it's very good and there's something for everyone on the menu at a reasonable price.

I ordered some pasta and was not impressed. I suppose its my fault for ordering pasta from a place with sandwich in the title. It smelled and tasted a bit off and the pasta was soggy as if it had been left in the pot soaking all day.
